Hello Foamers !
I need some advice for one of my mesh. I am trying to simulate a donut floating platform around a pile. The motion of the donut has a big amplitude so I decided to use an overset mesh. My problem is that usually, when I use an averset mesh I have no problem to define the celltypes. But here I have troubles to identify the region between the floating platform and the pile. One the screenshots, blue and red are cell zones (background and overset) Usually when I apply the celltype, using the setfield function, I get the entire fluid zone under number 0 in paraFoam but in this case, the region between the floating part and the pile is concidered as a solid part. Does any of you have an idea of how to solve this ? I can share some files if necessary. Thank you, |
