hi xisto
thnk for your reply

actually i am doing my work on c-d nozzle flow.
i take axisymmetry geometry of this.
actually i confuse about its boundary condition , here i attach my boundary file.... you just look into these and if found any problem please address me.

Is it ok?

Other question: When I use waveTransmissive I have to choose a "linf". But how do I choose the value?

Have you found the answer to your questions? I want to do something similar and I am not getting a steady flow yet.

Hi Carlos,

I would like to see your thermophysicalProperties file from constant folder the simulation that worked for you in the past (rhoPisoFoam laminar case on a duct with a bump). I will try it along with your boundary conditions with sonicFoam solver available in OpenFoam 2.1.1 (version that I use -> this version no longer contains rhoPisoFoam solver). I would love to be able to test this in a nozzle geometry. My goal is to set up a pressure gradients across it and check the velocity profile.

Best,
Matei.

Carlos, thanks very much for the BCs

For the supersonic you need to specify all variables at inlet (fixed values for temperature (static), pressure (static) and velocity). Extrapolate all variables from outlet (zero gradient).
