I need something that does more or less what the matlab command "hist" does to calculate the pdf of the velocity during the run. Thanks Andrea

Cheers Fabian

To define my intervals i need to define the minimum and maximum of a scalarField. If i use min(myScalarField) or max(myScalarField) i get very strange numbers. So, do min and max work for scalarField and do they work also in parallel (do they perform reduce operations)? best, andrea
