Hi foamers,
recently I stumbled upon a new book about FVM. It's quite new and, as far as I can tell, a very good source of information regarding finite volume method. Lots of methods and schemes etc. are presented in general, but there are also OpenFOAM specific explanations at the end of almost every chapter. All in all a very useful addition to the known literature out there, especially for people struggeling with OF source code programming like me The Finite Volume Method in Computational Fluid Dynamics An Advanced Introduction with OpenFOAMŪ and Matlab Moukalled, F., Mangani, L., Darwish, M. Best regards Philip P.S. I have no connection to the authors or the publisher whatsoever. Just wanted to spread the word as I find the book very helpful. |

Hi,
I also recommend the book by Moukalled et al. Especially to the people interested in understanding how the OpenFOAM code works internally. Best Regards, Paulo |
