Hi,
I am engaged in the challenging task of modelling a non-isothermal two-phase flow, specifically planar die swell, using the RheoTool extension of OpenFOAM for a non-Newtonian fluid. While there is an existing solver, rheoInterFoam, tailored for isothermal modelling of non-newtonian two-phase flow, I have encountered a gap in finding a suitable solver for non-isothermal scenarios. I'm reaching out to the community to inquire if anyone is aware of a solver within the RheoTool extension of OpenFOAM designed for non-isothermal two-phase flow modelling. Any insights or recommendations in this regard would be immensely helpful. In the absence of such a solver, I am studying two potential approaches: applying a Volume of Fluid (VOF) formulation to RheoHeatFoam or introducing a temperature field to rheoInterFoam. If anyone have any experience or insights on these approaches, or if anyone could provide any recommendations or advice, I would greatly appreciate your input. Thank you for your time and support.
