I'm trying to learn openfoam foundamentals, by reproducing tutorial case; first is cavity.

I'm using gmsh as mesher.

Calculations dosen't proceed as for the following error:
Create time

Create mesh for time = 0

Reading transportProperties

Reading field p

--> FOAM FATAL IO ERROR:
cannot find file

file: /home/kebalinux/OpenFOAM/kebalinux-2.1.1/run/test/cavity/0/p at line 0.

From function regIOobject::readStream()
in file db/regIOobject/regIOobjectRead.C at line 73.

FOAM exiting

any way file p is on case directory, what am i missing?

Razi, sometimes in tutorials, files in 0 directories are named X.org instead of X (to keep original files). So rename or copy and rename the file for p maybe also for U).
