Hi everyone,
I am a beginner in OpenFOAM and I have some questions for the advanced FOAM users in this forum. I am trying to simulate internal airflow through a complex pipe in a incompressible, steady state using simpleFoam and parallel computing. When I am running a case in parallel, I see the information in the image atacched. In time step continuity errors, the mangnitudes of sum local, global and cumulative are quite big when compared with serial executions (those quantities are about 1e-02). What is the meaning of these quantitites? Do this big values indicate that my simulation is not running well?Is the problem due to the decomposition of the domain? Any suggestions will be of big help. Thanks Last edited by Tensian; June 24, 2013 at 10:04. |
