Solver for spray atomization and breakup (without combustion)? -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

BuzzB New Member Sebastian Join Date: Sep 2013 Posts: 14 Rep Power: 12	Hello cfd-online community, I am currently looking for a solver to simulate atomization and breakup of a jet. In the OpenFOAM-Folder I found models for atomization and breakup in OpenFOAM-2.3.x/src/lagrangian/spray/submodels. My question is: What solver type is supposed to be used with theese submodels? Is sprayFoam the one that should be used? The only tutorial case I have found for this one is aachenBomb. But that includes combustion as well. Is it possible to run it without combustion? Do you know any other tutorial cases that can be found somewhere in the www? I would so much appreciate your help. I am new to OpenFoam and have always found good help in this Forum. Thank you
