Everything goes Fine and then this!
While running interDymFoam for sloshing tank 3d tutorial with cylinder tank and Boolean cut inside(Baffle :O) --> FOAM FATAL IO ERROR: Unable to set reference cell for field p Reference point pRefPoint (0 0 0.15) found on 0 domains (should be one) file: /home/bryce/openfoam30/tutorials/multiphase/interDyMFoam/ras/sloshingTank3D/system/fvSolution.PIMPLE from line 101 to line 107. From function void Foam::setRefCell ( const volScalarField&, const volScalarField&, const dictionary&, label& scalar&, bool ) in file cfdTools/general/findRefCell/findRefCell.C at line 109. FOAM exiting I used Salome for meshing and grouped surface geometries as 'walls'. I checked in parafoam (for the 0 timestamp) and I could see the water only at surface contact.. basically the entire mesh is only surface and not volume.. idk why. But when I switch from wireframe to volume I can see the water(blurry but still present) The above error seems to be associated with setFields though.. any ideas? |

Hi,
you're reference point for p seems to not be within the domain. Check if the point (0 0 0.15) is acutally in your domain. You can do that with parafoam and the streamlines tool ( the white cross marks any point, use these coordinates) for a reference point within your actual domain. Use this new reference point in the fvsolution file at the spot where u define the reference pressure point. Give it a try. |
