Hi,
I am using the reactingMultiphaseEulerFoam to simulate the solution and dissolution of gases in a liquid. I am really struggling to understand how OpenFoam calculates the density for each phase. For the liquid phase I am using perfectFluid equations of state where I give a reference density. However, for the gaseous phase I am using the perfectGas equation of state which does not ask for the density (I am using heRhoThermo for both the liquid and gas). Can someone help me understand how the density is calculated? Thanks in advance for any help. Cheers Mike |

For perfect gases rho=psi*P, where psi is the compressibility.
psi= 1/(RT), where R is the gas constant, function of the molecular weight and the universal gas constant. |
