Hey everyone,
When I am running a sprayfoam case in supercomputer, I met the following error. Could anyone tell me the reason? --> FOAM FATAL IO ERROR: error in IOstream "/general/home/sy2516/Aerosol/aerosolcase2/0.00465/PaSR:kappa" for operation Ostream& operator<<(Ostream&, const UList&) file: /general/home/sy2516/Aerosol/aerosolcase2/0.00465/PaSR:kappa at line 22. From function bool Foam::IOstream::check(const char *) const in file db/IOstreams/IOstreams/IOstream.C at line 96. FOAM exiting |

Hi,
There could be lots of reasons and it would be easier to get an answer if you ask supercomputer administrators. There are several guesses: 1. Disk space quota limit. You hit the limit, you can not write to the disk. 2. FS idiosyncrasies. If it is the first output, then MAYBE your network file system does not like : in file names. |
