Hi!

I use fvOptions for creating Heat Source in my simulation task.
It's very simple model of rod with source inside and water-coolant.
It works properly, but now I'am trying to make an axial distribution.
I use different cellSets "Cell1", "Cell2"... to combine one cellZone "Rod".
When I use in fvOptions option:

Quote:
selectionMode cellZone;
cellZone Rod;
it works.
But now I'm trying to use this option:

Quote:
selectionMode cellSet;
cellSet Cell1;
And there is a mistake:
Quote:
[1] --> FOAM FATAL ERROR:
[1] Cannot find directory "rod/polyMesh/sets" in times 0 down to constant[3]
And there is no directory, this directory is placed in "polyMesh" not in "rod/polyMesh"
Maybe I have some mistakes with topoSet options? Or I don't understand how it works at all((

Thank you!

The main problem is to save CellSets in Zones (regions), to describe it in terms of region mesh, not in global mesh (like in polymesh/sets).
I can do it manually with python script, but maybe OpenFOAM can do it?
