Dear Foamers,
I have base case simulation and want to start a new simulation from the base's steady state but with a section of wall changed to an inlet with a certain strength. I have searched through the old posts and can find how to change a wall to a patch but not to an inlet. Any help or guidance will be much appreciated |

It's super simple:
Open the U file in the directory of the appropriate time instance, and change 'noSlip'/'fixedValue' to whatever boundary conditon you desire. Make sure the simulation is set to start from 'latestTime' in the controlDict.
