Hello Team, I'm looking to compare twoPhaseEulerFoam (2PEF) and CFDEM setup via simulating minimum fluidization velocity. The particle diameter is 1.2 mm.

In phaseProperties, I'm declaring phases as (particles air). Here, I use diameterModel as constant and set d as 0.0012; for particle.

1. How do we estimate the alphaMax value?

Also, for air too we use diameterModel as constant and set d as 1.

2. Why are we setting air diameter to 1?

Thank you,
Jagan Mohan.
