Hello everyone!
I run the PimpleFoam case. It is an artery that has 1 inlet and 9 outlets. Actually, it is a blood flow laminar transient problem. I need to use surfaceNormalFixedValue boundary condition because it is more suitable. The problem is at the inlet velocity value is 0.25 m/s, however, at the outlets, there are very small values. Even if I change the inlet velocity the outlet values stay inadequately small and the same as previously. According to the mass conservation, the law velocity at the outlets should be near the inlet value. I appreciate it if somebody can help fix this problem. That problem in boundary conditions or in the mesh? The simulation setup is attached in the zip file. To run the case you can execute the PimpleCase.txt file. Also, residuals and velocity plots are attached. |
