Hi,

I used Blender to construct a room with a human model inside (all 3D). I am meant to use OpenFOAM to simulate a human thermal plume. Which solver(s) would you recommend for this approach.

I am quite new to OpenFOAM and I want to learn more about it. Thanks in advance.

You can use an incompressible solver since the reynolds number are going to be pretty low. I'd recommend going through the three week series:
