Hello Foamers!
I've been working on a jet flow simulation using both standard and realizable KE in OpenFOAM. The jet ejects into a stagnant water tank with higher density comparing with the water inside the tank. The problem arises when switching from standard to realizable k epsilon, iteration of k goes some time after start time, which varies depending on the initial values chosen for k and epsilon, to zero and eddy viscosity values shows weird results. In fact, the values of nut in jet surrounding are greater than their counterparts in jet!

I was wondering if any body could provide me some advises regarding their experiences on these two models in openFOAM.

Thank you,

Sina
