Hi Niklas
there were some error with meshing. but I'have some questions: 1-how to ignite mixture in reactingFoam? 2-Can I use dieselFoam with spray off and ignition on to solve non-premixed combustion? 3-how can I make solving chemistry faster? My iteration steps takes 1000 sec (2.8GHz celeron D cpu p4 256 kb cach memory) 5-your email (I mean @scania )does not work could you write a valid email ? thanks |

1 - either by hot inflow gas, hot wall or implement ignition. It all depends on what you are after. I'd probably use a timeVaryingFixedValue bc for the temperature on 1 of the bluff body walls.
2 - I dont think ignition is implemented in dieselFoam either. If you have it in your dictionary its probably because it was at one point. Check XiFoam on how ignition is implemented. 3 - dont know. 4 - what happened to 4? 5 - I ignore all mail regarding foam from people I dont know. If I help it thru this board so all can read, otherwise I'd answer the same question over and over. |

I have problem with reactingFoam.
How can I ignite the mixture? any suggestions. I've added ignite.h from engineFoam and now reactingFoam reads the "combustionProperties" file and during run reports that some cells found igniting, but after some seconds there is no combstion at all. |
