Hey Foamers,
I've recently read here on the forum that when using unstructured tet meshes that the entries in the fvSchemes file (particularly the interpolation schemes). Does anyone have experience with using rhoCentralFoam with a transonic unstructured tet mesh? My simulation using an unstructured tet mesh gives strange results after several time steps (see: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...um-system.html). I've already changed my reconstruct(rho) and reconstruct(T) from vanLeer to Gamma 1.0 and my reconstruct(U) from vanLeerV to GammaV 1.0 which allows the simulation to run longer before giving similar unrealistic results, although only in the 2D case. If anyone has any suggestions for me it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. -Eric |
