Dear All,

I am a beginner, who use now paraview for post-process.

how can I define Transparency View in Paraview that maximal value is transparency, minimal value has color, for example -> see. upload File JPG
I use opacity, it don't work ...

Quick answer: You will have to use at least 2 entries:
  1. One entry is set to transparent.
  2. Another entry is the result of using the filter "Threshold", because this filter allows you to only represent the part of the data that have a particular field within a range of values. For example it allows you to select cells or points of the results+mesh that have the displacement magnitude values within 0.5 and 1.0.
Although keep in mind that you might need to use the "Calculator" filter to calculate the magnitude field, if your field is multi-component (X, Y, Z, etc) by default.

I can't use Theshold filter.

only slice/clip filter are available.
