Hello,
I am trying to simulate a Convergent nozzle for my college project. I am using simscale for solving the problem and Paraview for post processing. Below are few details of problem. Inlet radius-5cm. outlet(nozzle outlet) radius-2.5cm. Nozzle lenght 10cm. Nozzle axis is 5deg out from Length axis. Fluid domain is 0.5m in lenght. KE turbulance model with incompressible solver. velocity inlet-10m/s. pressure outlet-ambient pressure. The problem is.. I am not able to calculate the Reactionary forces on the nozzle(rho*A*v2). The forces calculated by simscale are pressure forces which i am not interested in. Can someone give the exact process to find out the same. My idea was to find out the rho*A*v2 at the nozzle outlet using calculator and integrating variables command in paraview but I was not able to create a surface at the nozzle exit. |
