element size

Hello guys,
does anyone know how can you adjust the element size in unstructured grid ? When for example you have a square which is meshed with triangles and you have elements gathered in one direction. How can you control the element size of the triangles which changes in respect with this direction?
(I think in 3D mesh this option is Boundary decay, in T-Rex tab, are there any other options either in 2D or generally ?)

there are cases than I want to increase gradually the element size, for example in this picture, I did this using an option in T-Rex (3d) called boundary decay, so I could control how fine the grid would be. But if I had to make a 2D mesh for example this picture (the projection shown only) how could I control this? In gambit there was an option called element size I think so you could control the bigest triangle's area...

In the Grid, Solve, Attributes panel you can override the maximum edge length and choose your own. Be sure to reinitialize the domain once you change it.
