Just a quick question, what would be the best way to determine wave overtopping over a seawall (to be modelled as a solid)?

Maybe use a combination of a wave gage and velocity probe to calculate the dynamic discharge over the top of the breakwater or dam.

Hmm, that's a good idea. I will have to research on this further. Thanks for the suggestion!

Hi Hans, sorry quick question; I was looking at the other output options in P and noticed "P 67 * double x-location of discharge in cross section." Is the formulation of this such that it is only applicable for channelized flow and not wave overtopping?

Hi Ismael,

we have only tested P 67 for open channel flow, there is works. For waves or overtopping we have not used it.

Thanks for the feedback; I will test it's usage and hopefully give you some useful feedback.
