Dear collegues,
let's consider a pressure vessel subjected to pressure cycle P1-Pmax-P1-Pmax...(gas) where pressure is reduced by a control valve. The cycle time is not constant, and not known at any operation (suppose not to use an OUTLET boundary). Now, let us consider the following model: transitory (one INLET without OUTLET, P increases)+ FLUINJ(mass removal for discharge) + DTSTEP (time step is reduced when valve is opening). Is it, in your opinion, necessary to use POSDAT (level-1, level-2) as main routine (it passes parameters and logical flags to FLUINJ and DTSTEP, it controls the time step), or is it possible to carry out the mass removal and time reduction with FLUINJ & DTSTEP only? Thanks for any suggestion. Dr. Jean |
