hi,
i am in dire need to understand my simulation. what does the reference pressure change in it and the cell position ? if I receive the negative pressure values, theses are the relative values and are there computed relative to the reference pressure ? |

hey there reference pressure in STAR-CD is analogous to absolute pressure. THe gauge pressure is calculated with reference to this absolute pressure. STAR-CD has the option to post the absolute or relative(gauge) values of pressure. Negative values would imply the existence of vacuum pressures. Check if ur solutio has converged, a diverged solution might sometimes give negative pressures. Luke
