spacecraft is on a distinguished road
Hello!
I want to simulate the behavior of an existing vertical straight pipe. In the inlet (upper hole) thanks to a pump enters water with known inlet pressure (measured experimentally) and inlet volume flow rate. I would like to set the model in the right way to fine the pressure and velocity distribution along the pipe.
I set:

- "velocity inlet" for the inlet hole (this hole is connected to a pump), using the calculated velocity (velocity = inlet volume flow rate / inlet area)
- "pressure outlet" for the outlet hole (this hole is free, open to the room); since I don't know the experimental value for the outlet I supposed 1 bar (like in the room)

Is it the correct way?
Because at the end of simulation I found an inlet pressure of 3.39 bar but experimentally I know that inlet pressure is 2 bar.
There is another way to set boundaries, since I don't know the outlet pressure to use but only the inlet velocity and inlet pressure?
Thanks a lot
