Hello,
I am working with StarCMM+ for the simulations of fluidized bed. Do anybody know how to build a model that has the gas phase with turbulence model while solid phase with laminar model?
When I set up the physics model, it seems that I can only choose either laminar or turbulence for both gas and solid phases.
Any seggestions will be welcome.

I don't understand why you would want to do this. Why would a solid phase need turbulence modeling? It's not a fluid.

No no no, I said I would like the gas phase to be in turbulence and the solid phase in laminar. In the simulation of fluidized bed, the solid phase is treated as a granular fluid.

I don't think you need to worry about that, setup the gas phase with turbulence and introduce a Lagrangian Phase, for solid material particles, than you need to select the models. You can also look into DEM.
