Hi guys,
I'm trying to validate a wind tunnel test from a naca 0012 wing from Abbott. I'm running Rn=1,9x10^6 (2 feet chord, 50 m/s speed). I ran simulations with 4º and 8º AOA and had some mixed results. The discrepancy from the Lift force was -2,89% and -1,83% respectively, but for the Drag force the difference was +60,66% and +60,79%. It seems to me that the model emulates the pressure field very well, but it doesn't with the frictional drag. If that's the case, can you give me any tips about how to solve this problem? If not, what can be the problem? Thanks in advance! |
