Hello,
I'm currently simulating a flow with particles injected and I would like to extract the incident angle of each particle. I mean the angle between the velocity vector of a particle and the wall normal. I generated a track file, and I can see in the manager that there is "ParticleIncidentAngle", however according to Star CCM+ : " This function is provided for use in boundary condition expressions, it is not available for visualization, reporting, or recording on the track file." So, I don't know how to extract this data. I guess that it should be possible to create a report which will calculate this angle but I don't really how. Do you have an idea ? Augustin. |

Did you try to get it at boundaries via Boundary Sampling?
