Good night guys.
Recently I've been trying to create a model of a moving mechanism of a 1-cylinder engine. I've represented the mechanism and I added two boundary conditions: one for the pressure and one for rotational velocity. The moving mechanism is similar to this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ENA1cv4FBE The thing is that I want to find the total deformations, but results are referred from the original position of the mechanism. You have any idea about how can I get transient structural deformations for each of the positions of the mechanism? There's a method that i thought of but seems rather complicated. 1. Get the original mesh for each angle of the mechanism 2. Then get the deformations for each angle of the mechanism, then just seeing variations in the coordinates I will get the deformation for each node and for each coordinate. Now, seems simple for one angle, but for 10 or more angles seems rather tricky and painful to do. Any suggestion? |
