Hi,

We are working on shape estimation of an aerofoil. For this purpose, we would like to be able to run SU2 for, say, 20 iterations, then store the results, and then -- if necessary -- come back at a later time and run for 20 more iterations.

We thought this would be possible by using the file "restart_flow.dat".

However, the resulting lift and drag when doing 20 + 20 iterations (with restart) are different from doing 40 iterations at once (without restart). Are we doing something wrong?
