Hi all,
I want to insert a text that include the flow time in the software tecplot. I tried the way about &(SOLUTIONTIME), but the unit of flow time can not be changed. And equations are not allowed in the text. So how can I change the value of 3600s to 1h?
Ps. The flow time in my case is very large, for example 604800s, so I have to change it to make the graph more understandable.
Thank you.

POSTHU,

There is no direct way to do this within the Tecplot 360 user interface, but it can be done with a simple Python script, which you can download from the Tecplot Github repository here: https://github.com/Tecplot/handyscri..._time_units.py

This script is hard coded to divide solution time by 3600. It will add Zone Auxiliary data in HH:MM:SS format as well as change the Zone's solution time in place. This is done so you can see the effects of each.

If you haven't used PyTecplot, the Python API to Tecplot 360 you'll have to fulfill the prerequisites, which are Tecplot 360 2017 R3 or later, a 64-bit version of Python, and PyTecplot installed.

I hope this helps.
