Alright, I'll try the watertight workflow using Fluent's meshing. I remember trying that for another geometry, and it giving some wonky results. I probably would've made a mistake somewhere, but I've refrained from using it since. I'll give it another go.
Thanks for the resource. I'll try sweep/multizone as well, and see how it works out.
But from what you say, since poly hexcore seems to be the best option, I'll try that and see how it works out.

Question. What is your experience with CutCell Assembly meshing? It looks really good, using (I assume) quadratic elements. And it also offers good control on inflation and such, and I can also make a body of influence to adjust sizing. Do you think that this is a viable option?

I believe Fluent poly-hexcore meshing is far better than the CutCell, though I have minimal experience in using Ansys meshing for Fluent purposes. I find Ansys Meshing good for exact geometries and times where sweeping can be applied, but it is a big drawback that tet meshing is the default and "best" free meshing. (I mostly use the CFX solver.)
