Dear
Blade editor or blade modeler is not a separate from ansys...it is part of it, only change the preference like that:
Step 1: goes to ur workbench and then click on menu bar on option of Tools
like that

Step 2a: goes to License Preference and from where go to Geometry option like that

Step 2b: Simply change preference from designmodeler to Blade modeler through putting 1 or 0 and get Blade Modeler....Blade editor is already present in blade Modeler.

I want to understand how the basic 2D geometry is generated in CFX bladegen in terms to understand the basic input parameters from preliminary design calculations.

Dear all,

I am writting my master's thesis in ansys and it's hard to understand how the flow path in blade editor is created. When i am trying to do this, error message appears: "Error: The meridional plane placement is not correct.". If anyone have materials related to blade editor or bladegen, I would be very gratefull if you could sent it to: gugafix@gmail.com

also when i click the help section in blade gen an error occurs as, "failed to launch app" and i am directed to windows support page, does anyone khnow how to get help files of blade gen.
