Hi everyone,

i am having doubt in ICEM CFD Meshing. While meshing the geometry, i noticed following messages over console like "possible error(3) in trim curves for surface F_4309(id = 5659)" and "no loop has positive area".

From such messages, i suspect that, the surface F_4309 doesn't has bounding curves. So, my doubts are
1. how can i find this surface in my tin file, I have already named all surfaces, curves, points using create part option in ICEM CFD.
2. What the message "no loop has positive are" means and how to mitigate it?

I also think that, these issue will take more time during meshing. So, any leads/solutions would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
RAJDEEP

Hello Rajdeep,

Which program did you import your geometry from?

If i understood your question correct, then I have converted the obtained parasolid fie (.x_t) to tin file for meshing purpose.
