Hi everyone,
I want to use varied discharge coefficient, but even by paying attention to the file extension, which should be "in", an error is still given without explanation. Also, using the file for other configurations work properly. I would be very grateful if you could help me to fix this problem. Error and configuration attached. Sincerely, Amin Last edited by Amin_; July 25, 2023 at 07:12. |

We tried to reproduce this issue at our end by having a varied discharge coefficient like you did, but was unable to do so. It could be that your crash is unrelated to this and might be because of other case setup issues. Based on the screenshot you have shown there, it might be the case that there is some issue with your parcels.in or your parcel_introduction.in. You mentioned that your other configurations ran fine. What changed between this case and the other cases that ran fine? I would also look there. |

Dear Achyuth,
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I mean, other configurations ran fine, like rate_shape.in and time_step.in. Also, I encountered an issue with the file extensions for "time_step.in." There was an error related to the time step file, which required the extension ".in." Despite the extension being correct in the software, I resolved the problem by manually editing the file extension in the Windows file manager. Additionally, I ensured to disable the "clean output folder before exporting" option when running the simulation, and this successfully resolved the issue. Regarding the parcel's discharge coefficient, I attempted to reset injector inputs, but unfortunately, I still couldn't run the simulation. However, I discovered that by removing the file and using a single parameter, the simulation runs without any errors. Thank you once again for your guidance. Best regards, Amin |
