Hi,
Can we run CONVERGE with GPU on Windows? I checked the GPU option in the run parameters and used a .json file. Then, I changed its pressure linear solver type to AMGX or CONVERGE BISCGSTAB GPU, and as a result, I received this warning: "You must check 'GPU configuration' and provide an AmgX file in Case Setup > Simulation Parameters > Run parameters > GPU/Acceleration when using AMGX." Additionally, when I run the simulation, I repeatedly encounter this error message: "Temperature extrapolation error found at cell." Is there an AMGX file available to set up my simulation on an Nvidia GPU? I would be very grateful if you could help me. Sincerely, Amin" |

Hello,
I do not think there is anything to exclude Windows OS from GPU usage. If you are trying to use the AMGX library and mixing it with the BiCGStab solver, I think it is better not to use GPU (since you would probably not see much speed-up) or use CONVERGE_BICGSTAB_GPU as the linear solver without specifying the AMGX configuration file (.json) file. I hope it helps. Quote:
