Hi, everyone.
recently I have been thinking the outer boundary type of ELES model.Considering the case that LES domain lies between the RANS domain as the one give in the help document (// Theory Guide :: 0 // 4. Turbulence // 4.12. Embedded Large Eddy Simulation (ELES) // 4.12.3. Interfaces Treatment).

My question is : what is the type of boundary for the downstream LES-RANS interface in terms of the LES domain? I mean, the RANS-LES interface can be viewed as velocity inlet boundary for the LES, while the inlet condition for the downstream RANS is the RANS solution inside the LES zone if the option of freezing is adopted. In that way, it seems the data from the LES can't find way out. Then what role is LES-RANS interface for LES domain when LES is being performed?

really want someone to discuss. thanks!
