# Symmetry in Gambit?Help! cant see it in fluent

 August 4, 2002, 22:04 Symmetry in Gambit?Help! cant see it in fluent #1 Puck Guest   Posts: n/a Dear all, I tried inputting symmetry in gambit for my geometry but while iterating, i stopped the iterations for a while to check if i can see the other side of my geometry by clicking the symmetry plane..i cant, in fact i can only see the symmetry plane drawn out.. Do i have to wait for the solution to converge to see the mirror image or is something wrong with my geometry? My geometry involves sectioning of a contracting duct(3D)..thts why i have to define all the faces in one section as one symmetry plane..Is that the wrong method?. Someone plz help...Thnk you Puck

But for fluxes, you should, of course, use the same value as before. Since your volume or area is half the volume or area you had before, the total production will be half (heat production in your case) Laika, still orbiting
