hello to all
I'm a beginner using software like opemfaom and gmesh and this is my first simulation. I would want to know if there is a simple manner to import a cad file to gmsh to create a the mesh that then i'll export to openfoam. Maybe a video source would be great!! Hope i've been clear because my english is not very good. Thanks for help. |

Gmsh imports STEP, IGES and BREP files thanks to OpenCascade.
You need to compile your copy of Gmsh with OpenCascade enabled I have not done that personally but you will need to read the documentation |
