Anisotropic thermal conductivity

Can you answer to my question as shown in attachment

and the desired rotation matrix

, the transformed tensor

can be derived by taking:

$T'=RTR^{-1}$

Sorry I don't have a matrix manipulator to actually do the math for you. But that's the procedure.

The original matrix is already in diagonal form, that is you know the three eigenvalues.

Rotation matrix is a standard topic, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rotation_matrix
