Hi ! I'm a beginner on both cfmesh and snappyHexMesh. I started first on Snappy and quickly faced boundary layer deletion problems. Due to my complex geometry, I turned to cfmesh which is efficient for boundary layers addition but it destroys my trailing edge. Is there any suggestion to correct this problem ? Check the pictures attached to see the problem. I've tried to refine the mesh (31M cells ) but it didn't solve the problem.

Hello,
cfMesh is a bit particular about surface edges, normally they get lost in the stl file. Are you using a .fms file in this case? It is the preferred for cfMesh. To obtain it, you can use the following command: Quote:
Best of luck. |
