installation on mac os x lion

Hi,
I am fresh after installing OF-1.6-ext on ubuntu natty platform. I have even tested the solvers successfully. Now, I want to know if it is possible to install OpenFoam (any version) on Mac os x lion. I tried based on instructions at :http://www.optimulation.com/2011/09/...mac-os-x-lion/ but it didn't work because i could not install the required gcc version. I have an older version of gcc. I am not able to fetch new gcc as my macports is not working. can anyone give me any useful link through which anbody have been successful installing opefoam on mac os x lion ? - achyutan |
