Error Compiling Paraview4.1.0

hello
i'm new in OpenFOAM, my os is OpenSUSE13.1, OpenFOAM Version is 2.3.0, i downloaded the source pack, i followed the steps in http://www.openfoam.org/download/source.php, when if finished building the sources, i try to Compiling Paraview, but it always terminate installing when it reach a 78% process,the error reported that some file can't be found ,i don't know how to Compiling Paraview and the Paraview Reader Module now, i have also tried to reistalling my os, but it doesn't work. is there any way to solve it? or can i use OpenFOAM without Paraview, if i can ,how can i post processing the data? thanks for reading |

since it's my first time using linux and OpenFOAM, I don't know how to find the file, later I'll show some detailed information, thank you for replying. Can I post process the result calculated by OpenFOAM without Paraview?

You can't use Tecplot directly - http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Tecplot.
But, I guess, it'll be easier to find that "some file" and build paraview. |

Instructions for building OpenFOAM 2.3.0 and ParaView 4.1.0 on openSUSE 13.1 have been available on the wiki for some time now: http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/In...2.3.0/openSUSE As for the wiki page about Teplot: it's outdated. The latest Tecplot versions are able to mostly handle OpenFOAM cases, although from what I've read on the forum, it's not yet full-proof. Best regards, Bruno
