Dear Foamers,

I tried to run the Sandia Flame D Tutorials in windows subsystem for Linux.

I have Linux Ubuntu 18.0 LTS and OpenFOAM6, the problem is I can run the blockMesh utility with no error, and checkMech as well. However, I realised the input format of polyMesh files are odd (please see attached pictures).

and therefore, the paraview could not open foam file.

any help on this would be great.

Best

quick respond from myself,

This is a binary file format problem between Linux and windows. Just change the file format in controlDictionaty from binary to ascii and you would not get this problem.
