Dear Foamers,
I would like to simulate the flow over an heterogenous terrain (xyz~1km*0.6km*0.3km) using LES. My inlet velocity should have a logarithmic profil. The atmBoundaryLayerInletVelocity is only available with RANS After reading the forums discussions, the different provided by OpenFOAM, i found there are 2 ways: 1. Do a separate simulation of a cyclic channel and store every inlet (do you know which boundary condition should be put at the outlet of this simulation?) 2. Use the mapped BC at the inlet. Do you have some recomendations/experience in 2 methods? Thank you in advance for your reply, |
