Hello everyone,
I've been trying to model an oscillating object going up and down on water surface. I'm using the oscillatingLinearMotion function in the dynamicMeshDict and even though I specified the oscillation to occur only in the cellZone of my object, after running the case I get the complete domain oscillating up and down. My dynamicMeshDict looks like this: FoamFile { version 2.0; format ascii; class dictionary; location "constant"; object dynamicMeshDict; } // * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * // dynamicFvMesh dynamicMotionSolverFvMesh; motionSolverLibs ( "libfvMotionSolvers.so" ); motionSolver solidBody; cellZone c0; solidBodyMotionFunction oscillatingLinearMotion; amplitude (0 0 0.05); omega 5; My complete case can be found attached to this post. I appreciate any help Cheers |
