DPMFOAM for liquid-solid flows

Just wanted to confirm whether dpmfoam can be used for liquid-solid flows (laminar flows) also by just changing the fluid properties? Since the tutorial given are for gas-solid turbulent flow.

In spite my late answer, you can use DPMFoam for liquid-solid flows, you must add other forces like virtual mass and pressure gradient that are negligible in the case for gas-solid flows. |

I'm having difficulties making DPMFoam converge as a liquid in a submerged jet test, using K-Omega SST as the turbulence model. Even when I turn turbulence off though, my solution diverges.
Does anyone have any ideas why it is not working? I have the same geometry and boundary conditions (as fas as possible) with reactingTwoPhaseEulerFoam. I can add more detail if someone has any ideas. Cheers |

Did somebody already adjust DPMFoam for horizontal heavier liquid flows (water etc.)?
It would help me a lot :-) |
