Hello,

I'm trying to run a case with the viscoelasticFluidFoam solver and the Maxwell viscoelastic Model. I took the Oldroyd-B Tutorial Case and just swapped the model to Maxwell inside the viscoelasticProperties.H file.
Unfortunately the case doesn't run and i get this error message:

From function lduMatrix::lower() const
in file matrices/lduMatrix/lduMatrix/lduMatrix.C at line 205.

FOAM aborting

I have tried foam extended 3.1 and 4.1 with the same approach but the error is the same for both.
Since then i also tried different solvers and preconditioners in the fvsolutions file, but with no difference.

Do i miss something obvious?

I faced the exact same issue with linearMaxwell model. Did you overcome the problem?

Hello Syavash,

I traced the Problem to the LU-Decomposition the solver is doing, but unfortunately couldn't find a solution. In my case I just continued with the Oldroyd-B model.
