Hello Friends,

Is there any ethylene/air detailed or reduced combustion mechanism in OpenFOAM?

I had done the tutorial case of methane/air counterflow flames using GRI 3.0.
I am trying to do ethylene air counterflow simulations.

If some of you have tried it, please help.

Thanks
Nandu

One should be able to convert (parse) a reaction mechanism for ethelyne from Chemkin (or Cantera or COOLPROB or otherwise) into the format that OpenFoam reads. Have a look into chemkintoFoam as part of the Sandia_LTS tutorial. The chemkintoFoam is regarly discussed in this forum.
